Yoon Hong-dae (Park Seo‑joon), a top-flight soccer player, ends up in hot water after assaulting a reporter and is placed on disciplinary probation. To rehabilitate his image, he’s assigned to coach South Korea’s Homeless World Cup soccer team—an eclectic group of homeless men with little to no experience.

PD Lee So-min (IU) decides to document this unlikely journey. As training progresses and matches approach, Hong-dae’s icy exterior melts and genuine bonds form with his ragtag squad. Though based on the real 2010 Homeless World Cup story, the film carries a familiar underdog arc—underdog determination, personal growth, and a heartwarming climax—even if victory remains elusive.
